Zoom Passphrase? Data location on VM?
Hi, I’m a bit stuck right now. I wanted to join the helpdesk but cannot find the passphrase anymore… It’s neither in an e-mail nor the letter from the starter kit?
But basically I wanted to find out how I can access the Data required for todays tutorials. The folder “forest” doesn’t seem to exist on the VM although I searched around a bit.

Or are the data accessible on the learning platform somewhere? It sounded like that in the mail with the VM URL & credentials. I don’t know if I’m blind but the only materials or data I can find on the learning platform are slides.

Okay nevermind… found the big “data” button and also the passcode on the course front page. Haha, I missed that as it’s not noted on helpdesk link within the lectures.

Concerning the question on how to get the data into the VM. Use the Firefox-Browser in the VM, open the website of the SummerSchool and open the page for the current day. There will be a list with the topics of the theoretical lessons. And below the lessons, you will find the tutorials. Click at a tutorial entry and you will see a button called “Daten” -> You will download a tar-file.
In the VM, open the file manager. Click at the downloaded file to select it, then use the right mouse button to open a context menu. Select the entry “Extract here”.
